A Distinguished Background
James E. Smith Jr. served as a state legislator for 22 years and continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the South Carolina Army National Guard, as well as the lead attorney of this firm. From February 2007 until July 2008, he was deployed as an infantry officer in Afghanistan with the 218th Brigade Combat Team. The unique insights, knowledge and strength that he has gained from these experiences can benefit our clients in many ways.
